Outdoor motion sensor KINASGARD® ABWF-W

The motion sensor/presence detector KINASGARD® ABWF detects the presence of people and movements. It is used for monitoring, detecting statuses and motion-dependent control of room functions, e.g. as a motion detector for lowering the temperature in unused rooms. The motion sensor is used in corridors, outdoors, in industrial halls, in offices and in residential and commercial premises. The sensor detects movements with an opening angle of 110° and 360° circumference.




The patented lens system with 20 individual lenses creates very small dark areas that are only a few centimetres wide even at a distance of 10 m and reliably detect small movements. The transmitter detects changes in infrared radiation, i.e. thermal radiation, caused by the movement of people or objects. These generate a temporal change in the temperature gradient in the field. Due to the ever-present body (heat) radiation, this motion detector is ideal for detecting people. The temperature difference between the sensor and the object must be >5 K.
