Motion detector, light sensor, humidity and temperature sensor KINASGARD® DBWF-LF-FTF-W

The presence detector or recessed ceiling sensor KINASGARD® / PHOTASGARD® DBWF/LF/FTF is used to detect people at a distance of up to 10 meters, illuminance or brightness, relative humidity and temperature. It is used for installation in suspended ceilings. The sensor detects movements with an aperture angle of 110° and 360° circumference. The patented lens system with 20 individual lenses creates very small dark areas, which are only a few centimeters in size even at a distance of 10 m and reliably detect small movements. If movement is detected, the potential-free relay output is switched. The hold time of the output, measured from the time of the last detected movement, can be set internally via a potentiometer from 4 seconds to approx. 17 minutes. An analog output 0-10 V corresponding to 0...+50 °C or 0...100 % RH is available for temperature and humidity. Deviations caused by the installation position and location can be compensated for internally by an offset controller. An analog output 0-10 V is also available for illuminance or brightness of 0...1000 lux or 0...5000 lux (selectable via DIP switch). There is also the option of activating the motion output depending on the brightness via a DIP switch. Applications for the DBWF/LF/FTF include living room monitoring, automatic light switching, control and alarm technology as well as motion-dependent control of room functions, e.g. for lowering the temperature in unused rooms.
