Room brightness sensor or transducer PHOTASGARD® FSHKM-U 1K

Maintenance-free brightness sensor PHOTASGARD® FSHKM with active output, in flush-mounted housing, for determining illuminance (0...1kLux). The measuring transducer converts the measured values into a standard signal of 0 -10 V. The flush-mounted sensor is installed in high-quality surface switch programs, preferably from Gira, Berker, Merten, Jung, Siemens or Busch-Jaeger (using a flush-mounted adapter), either individually or in combination with light switches, socket outlets, etc.


The sensor is used to control lights, lighting systems, blinds and awnings and to monitor lighting conditions. It is used indoors at workstations, in corridors, offices, residential and commercial premises as well as industrial and warehouse buildings as a daylight-dependent constant light control, as a brightness or twilight sensor and as a sunshade control to prevent unnecessary room heating.

The used light sensor (photodiode) has been specially adapted to the sensitivity of the eye. Its greatest sensitivity is in the range from 350 nm to 820 nm. With its special filter, the sensor is therefore predestined for use in measuring the illuminance of daylight and ⁄ or for measuring artificial light with a high color temperature (similar to sunlight).
