Product description

  • Measuring range: –50...+150 °C / –58...+302 °F
  • Installation length: 150 mm
  • Output: Modbus
  • Protection class: IP 67 (according to EN 60 529)
Patented high-quality product (immersion probe, Patent No. DE 10 2012 017 500.0)

Calibratable temperature transmitter with THERMASGARD® TM65-Modbus-SD probe tube, 150 mm LCD, with Modbus connection (Y-adapter), in an impact-resistant plastic housing with quick-release screws, stainless steel protective tube (150.0 mm), with display, measures temperature (–50...+150 °C / –58...+302 °F). The International System of Units (SI) (default) can be switched to Imperial units (via Modbus).

The duct sensor is used to measure the temperature in liquid or gaseous media. For corrosive media, stainless steel immersion sleeves must be used. It is used in heating technology, ventilation and air conditioning ducts, piping, storage tanks, compact district heating stations, hot and cold water systems, oil and lubrication circulation systems, mechanical and plant engineering, and across the entire industrial sector.

Modbus sensor SD with RS485 Modbus interface (not galvanically isolated), switchable bus termination resistor, DIP switches for configuration when powered off, internal LEDs for telegram status indication (illuminated, individually programmable). Self-diagnostics detect sensor breakage or short circuits as errors. The sensor is factory-calibrated; a specialist can perform a fine adjustment based on ambient conditions.

Technical data

Power supply 24 V AC (± 20%) and 15…36 V DC (± 10%)
Power consumption < 1.0 W at 24 V DC; < 2.2 VA at 24 V AC
Unit system SI (default) or Imperial (switchable via Modbus)
Data points Temperature [°C] [°F]
Sensor Pt1000 DIN EN 60751 Class B (Perfect Sensor Protection)
Measurement range –50...+150 °C / –58...+302 °F
Temperature accuracy typically ± 0.2 K at +25 °C
Zero-point offset ± 10 K
Ambient temperature Transmitter –30...+70 °C
Medium Depends on selected immersion sleeve
Fault detection Sensor break, sensor short circuit
Bus interface RS-485, not galvanically isolated; bus termination can be enabled via DIP switch. Up to 32 devices are possible on a single segment. For a larger number of devices, RS-485 repeaters must be used.
