Calibratable mean value temperature measuring transducer THERMASGARD® MWTM - Modbus-SD, with Modbus connection (Y adapter), in impact-resistant plastic housing with quick-locking screws, with flexible sensor rod (3.0 m/ 6.0 m, fully active) in protective tube made of reinforced thermoplastic hose and anti-kink spring, incl. mounting flange, optionally with/without display, measures temperature (-50...+150 °C).


The rod sensor is used to measure the average temperature (mean value) in gaseous media. It is used in ventilation and air conditioning ducts over the entire cross-section or over a defined length (laid in a meandering pattern, it measures the temperature evenly). MK-05-M mounting brackets (accessories) are available for professional installation of the rod. Modbus sensor SD with RS485 Modbus interface (not electrically isolated), switchable bus terminating resistor, DIP switch for setting in de-energized state, internal LEDs for telegram status display (illuminated, individually programmable). By means of self-diagnostics, sensor breakage or sensor short circuit are recognized as errors. The sensor is calibrated at the factory; fine adjustment by a specialist is possible depending on the environment.
